"After the Pussycat Dolls were largely sabotaged from enjoying some shine, Ashley Roberts is going it alone – solo. The singer releases a teaser for ‘All In A Day’ which was written by Bobby Newberry (his demo version is actually online). The cut is produced by urban outfit The Invaders. I’ve never paid much attention to Ms Roberts simply because (like all the others), she was pushed into the background. We never got the chance to see what she could really do. Among the Pussycat Dolls, I felt Melody Thornton had potential beyond the obligatory closing off ad-lib. This new track, has some serious potential, and it’s interesting to hear that it has an urban slant to it. Intyce, who is part of The Invaders, informs me that he is writing and producing on Ashley’s first solo album, so if this is the direction she is going in, I long to hear more. Hopefully, she will have better luck than the lead singer, who looks like she is set to have a SECOND album shelved in the US."
