Flamboyant fashion designer Charlie Brown held a VIP Australia Day bash in her backyard yesterday, opening the doors of her lavish five-bedroom Point Piper pile to Sydney's movers and shakers.
With wagyu beef on the barbecue and lamingtons on the table, the searing-hot hoedown featured The Hav-o, a concoction of pineapple juice and Brazilian rum invented for the first night of Oprah's Aussie extravaganza - and which is now on its way to becoming our national cocktail.
"Mexico has the margarita, Cuba has the mojito, Australia has the Hav-o," creator and bartender Hayden "Woody" Wood told Confidential.
