News: Ashley rakes in Aussie cash

Australian club appearances have turned out to be quite the money earner for former Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts. The blonde singer is on her third trip to Australia this year, spending the past few weeks performing at local clubs and bars, as well as walking on the runway for Ruth Tarvydas at Perth Fashion Week. And she'll be returning at the end of October to appear at Melbourne Cup events, as well as at the regular Friday-night Haus party at Sydney's OneSixNine club. "I can't get enough of Australia," Roberts told Insider. "It's got a good vibe; it feels comfortable being over here." Roberts parted ways with her Pussycat Dolls bandmates at the end of last year and is working on a solo album for release next year, with a single likely to drop sooner. Roberts, who also plans to release a clothing line, will celebrate her 29th birthday in Sydney today before flying back to Los Angeles.
